Dr. Sargeant is a Family Medicine Consultant and the Managing Director of Aynat Medical Centre Inc.
Dr. Sargeant has more than thirteen (13) years of clinical experience and has both undergraduate and postgraduate training from the University of the West Indies. She has worked in Haematology/Oncology, Internal Medicine and Family Medicine in both Barbados and Jamaica. Her specialty is Family Medicine.
Dr. Sargeant is also a part-time tutor at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, teaching first and second year medical students. She currently sits as the Co-Chair of the BAMP COVID-19 Task Force.
Mr. Sargeant has more than five (5) years experience working in the field of computer technology and repair.
He recently completed an Associate degree in Business Studies from the Barbados Community College, where he was exposed to marketing, management, accounts and business law. His programme also awarded him the opportunity to intern at the Prime Minister's Office Accounts Section, where he gained invaluable experience in team work, office procedures and real-life accounting.
We offer both urgent care and management of chronic conditions. Dr. Sargeant is an expert in managing Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Dyslipidaemia and other noncommunicable chronic diseases and is well-known for her genuine compassion and care of her patients. She also has a special interest in Haematology and Oncology.
